Megan Gale
Gale was only 18 when she was 18 when she won a modeling contest when she was 18 years old. She won a modeling competition in Perth. Gale was a model for several years before she became known in 1999 when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) hired her for commercials. The model continued working with the company until 2006. In 2003 it was announced that The Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale's magazine covers comprise of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ as well as Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale can also be seen in editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia as well as Australian Cosmopolitan. Gale has modeled for Italian brands like Gianfranco ferre Genny as well as Gai Matiolo. Also, she did runway modelling during Milan Fashion Week for Mariella burani and Angelo Marani. Gale is a fan of a variety of Australian fashion designers, including Colette dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She was in 2006 when she was moderator of the Australian television awards, the Logies. In January 2008, Gale announced her retirement from runway modelling after 15 years. She took to the catwalk one last time just weeks later at an David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. In her final look she wore Wonderwoman's attire in the Justice League of America movie which was never made. Gale made a return to the runway in March 2011 and finished her Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011.
