Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her character Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, a well-known actor as well as a producer, director, writer, teacher, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 for this role. In 2009, she was cast in the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season. On June 20 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the series. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
